Data Erasure

Why do you need to erase data securely off hard disc's? Well most people tend to think once they empty the recycle bin on the PC the data is gone off the PC, far from this...... Data can be recovered by basic amateur computer enthusiasts to criminal organisations and not to mention the law enforcement personnel. The Prime example of this is we can recover deleted data from hard disc drives years after the data has been deleted! For example when the BBC obtained a number of hard drives from a street market in Nigeria, they hired a forensic consultant to recover data and then trace the owner of the disc. They then interviewed the gentlemen, who was horrified to find out how easily this had been done, and what his pc had been used for!

The data erasure method we us is approved by the UK Government, all drive erasures will be completed by our engineers and a report produced.
